PPCP stands for Polypropylene Copolymer Plastic. The melting point of PPCP is 160 o C. Polypropylene is thermoplastic polymer that is used in various purposes. Polypropylene copolymer plastic is used in the manufacturing of automotive components, packaging, textiles, laboratory equipments etc.

The alternative of polyvinyl chloride is polypropylene to provide insulation to electrical cable. In the production of acids while the temperature goes high, it does not release any toxic halogens.

Moreover, it is used in roofing membrane. It has been recently used in fashion industry to create jewelry. . An addition polymer made from the monomer propylene, it is rugged and unusually resistant to many chemical solvents, bases and acids.
